After spending 15 years as an accountant and financial analyst, Trent Floyd, owner and operator of JR Crickets South Cobb decided to hang up his hat in the corporate world and began his second career as a restaurateur opening JR Crickets South Cobb in October 2006. He wanted a career that had an effect on people, a career, where he could have direct contact with people and affect their daily lives. JR Crickets South Cobb has allowed him to spend more time watching his children grow up, it has also allowed him time to explore other interests in life as it relates to being more involved in his church and surrounding community and with his family. When asks what he enjoys most about the business he answers: “I enjoy hearing he word “thank you” so many of my life’s work include thankful tasks and duties….not the ungrateful corporate grind.”
